Two Years of Marriage

Today marks the second anniversary of the day the fetching Mrs. P and I got married.

Thanks to my wonderful, beautiful wife for a fantastic life.  Each day truly is beeter than the last..

We had a small ceremony at the Wildflower Garden in Crested Butte, attended by about two dozen family and close friends.  We did it the right way, by renting a large ski lodge that had 5 rooms/baths, a hot tub, pool table, big screen TV/DVD, computer, and a fully furnished "apartment" in the basement that slept another 7 or 8.  It worked out great to have everyone there in one spot.

My family came up from Arizona, the fetching soon-to-be Mrs. P had Mr. and Mrs. Geno in from Delaware, her brothers and their wives in from Maine and South Carolina, her bridesmaid and husband came in from Virginia, and my best man came in from Arizona.  We also had a few friends from Denver make the drive up, and also one of my college buddies in from California.

Of course we brought the dogs!

We arrived a few days before the ceremony after making a convoy-type drive from Denver the Crested Butte with the majority of the guests in tow.  We enjoyed dining, shopping, a nice horseback ride, and everyones company for the 4 days we were up there.

The ceremony itself was fantastic-we were blessed with a gorgeous day, and even tho the minister had to marry us twice (long story, but he forgot to do part of the vows!), everything went off without a hitch.

All in all, the weekend went too fast, and we all got back to our busy lives.  We like to look at the pics from time to time, and remember what a fun weekend it was two years ago.

Thanks for making my life complete, Mrs. P.

I love you!
