Not old in the sense that it's Neanderthal Man "speaking", but old in the sense that we've been seeing all those Geico commercials for years.  And they seem to have no problem with the "quantal vowel" sound.

The Red Wings got it done yesterday, pitching a 3-0 shutout to win their opening round series against Nashville.  The Wings will have to wait and see who their opponent is going to be in the second round.  I'm hoping it won't be the Av's, so we get a more exciting Final..

Looks like the big winner in last nights debate was John McCain.  It was interesting to watch both Obama and Hillary! struggle with questions they weren't used to getting in previous debates.
 
Both Clinton and Obama were rattled as ABC moderators Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos grilled them on a number of issues that have not been brought into focus before.

Clinton came across as craven and dishonest, while the normally eloquent Obama buckled under tough questioning about his relationships with former Weather Underground member Bill Ayers and Rev. Jeremiah Wright. When the debate moved to policy, both candidates contradicted themselves repeatedly and revealed the hollowness of their liberal positions.

If you don't have a 12 foot tall brick wall, moat, attack dogs, and a state-of-the-art security system like WAMK World HQ does, you might want to take a look at this site that GWK sent in.  Simply type in your address (or any address, for that matter), and see if there are bad guys in your vicinity.
 
I forgot to mention that WAMK World HQ also has guns.  Lots of guns.
